THE MEDICINALIST

Dear Friends,

You guys have been calling, texting, e-mailing: "Krishnan, what happened to the Friendship Project listserv." Well, fear not, we're back in action.

I have always wanted to be a doctor, and I now study to become one. My intention is to cover topics directly (and tangentially) related to Health and Medicine-- therapeutics, diagnostics, and the science and history which underlie it, interlaced with my personal experience.

My qualifications are sparse. My ignorance is, at times, alarming, and my understanding is often times limited. Never-the-less they tell me I have some sort of insight, and it does appear that I do sometimes stumble upon the correct answer with the aid of science ...and perhaps a bit of intuition.

I am going to test some alternative hypotheses, and I can only promise to give it my best effort. If you decide you want to wade through all this with me, I hope we'll be better for it, and I'll definitely be honored that you decided to come along for the ride.

Mostly, I just want to keep up with you, so drop me a line let me know how life is going, and sign up if you're interested.
